This volunteer has previously been nominated for volunteer of the month, and now having his second nomination, has proven not only to be an excellent volunteer, but this shows that he has consistency with his performance. Elisha has been a volunteer a Mercy for nearly a year now. He takes his position as the lead training senior volunteer very seriously, and puts a lot of effort into creating new ideas on how to make traings more fun for new volunteers, and he makes sure that new volunteers are also very well informed on the rules and regulations of the hospital. We are extremely luck to have such a wonderful volunteer! Our volunteers are lucky to have Elisha interested in making trainings more enjoyable for them!

Our program has grown so much over this past year. As your Youth Volunteer Liaison I want to tell you all how proud I am of this program, and how excited I am about the volunteers that we have. Recently you had a goal to reach 250 hours of volunteer time from February 18th to April 20th and you guys not only reached it, but you had 418 hours! We have grown from only have 4-5 volunteers to having about 20 active members, and we have grown from getting 25 hours a month, to now getting about 150-200 hours a month. You guys are doing great! I'm really excited about our upcoming mural project, and our meetings! Good job volunteers!

Ashley in the gray sweat shirt, Keeton in black sweat shirt.
I'm so excited to announce Keeton and Ashley as our volunteers of the month for April! If you can't just tell from their picture they have fun and unique personalities. One of my favorite things about these volunteers is they are always looking to make new people feel welcomed in the program and they are ALWAYS excited about the activities we plan. Also, from day one they also had their eyes set on being senior volunteers! Which they worked very hard to achieve, coming in twice a week for a total of 6 hours a week, and they started in January working up to their 40 hours! These girls are hardworkers, and just the kind of volunteers that Mercy needs!

We have an AMAZING group of volunteers! Each and every volunteer is excited about their job, meeting new volunteers, and helping out at the hospital. They have been doing an incredible job, and they had 191 hours in february! However, I was even more impressed to learn that our volunteers got 184 hours in March, and that happened even with spring break! Below are some fun pictures from our last meeting.
